Jeffery W. Loux

Loux Dr. Jeffery W. Loux, 71, of Seminole, FL and Brevard, NC, died December 6, 2013 in Knoxville, TN. Jeff retired after 35 years from private practice in 2011. Since retiring, he has been working part time as an emergency room physician in various ER's in North Carolina and Tennessee. He was working when he had a heart attack and died. Dr. Loux started practicing medicine in Westerville, OH before moving to Florida in 1986. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. When he wasn't working, Jeff was an avid gun collector, fly fisherman and family man. He was a member of Anona United Methodist Church, Largo and a US Military veteran. He is survived by his wife, Nikki; sons, Jeremy, Seminole and Andrew (Tiffany); grandsons, Troy and Logan, Pittsburgh, PA; sisters, Linda (Wayne) Hummel and Roberta (Bud) Deleo, Philadelphia; nephews, Steven, David and Joseph Hummel; niece, Jessica Deleo; and several great nephews and nieces. Memorial Contributions may be offered to Anona United Methodist Church, 13233 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774.
