John "Jack" Millirons(1933 - 2013)

Millirons John "Jack" Millirons, born August 24, 1933, to Donald E. and Nellie (Mettler) Millirons died peacefully in his sleep at home in Columbus on September 26, 2013. Jack married Barbara Packard on July 4, 1958. He graduated from South High School in 1952 and attended Ohio State University. He served in the Navy from 1952-1954 and was honorably discharged from the Naval Reserves in 1960. He spent his entire professional career at the former Defense Construction Supply Center, retiring in 1991 as Chief Photographer and head of the Graphic Arts Department. He was a member of the American Legion Post 733 in Bettsville, Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean Packard Millirons; daughters, Ann White (Doug Stonerock) of Stoutsville, Linda DeVaughn of Tiffin; and sons, James of Columbus, and Mark (Julie) of Georgia; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Jack enjoyed watching and coaching sports, and fishing. A private family service will be held and he will be cremated and inurned at a later date at Green Summit Cemetery, Adelphi, Ohio.
