John W. O'Bryan III

O'Bryan Pastor John W. "Jack" O'Bryan III, age 63 of Groveport, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013. Jack was born in Columbus, son of Ruth O'Bryan and the late John W. O'Bryan, Jr. Jack graduated from Ohio Christian University with a degree in Sacred Literature. Throughout his entire life, Jack has been a man after God's own heart. He ministered at numerous churches and missions throughout his 45 year career. He was a prayer warrior who was genuine, loving and had a great sense of humor and loved to make people happy. Jack was also passionate about gospel music, and always has a song to share. Above all else however, Jack loved spending time with his family, especially his loving wife Brenda who was affectionately known as Babo. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 38 years, Brenda O'Bryan; children, Olyvia (Tom) Frederick, Diana (Jack) Liu and Morgan O'Bryan; grandchildren, Rebekkah, Rachael, Leah, and John; mother, Ruth O'Bryan; siblings, Ken (Judy) O'Bryan, Jim (Louise) O'Bryan, Tim (Kathy) O'Bryan, Diana (Mike) Lyle and Mark "Tony" O'Bryan; and many other dear family members and treasured friends. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013 at North Columbus Church of Christ in Christian Union, 5600 Karl Rd. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. Pastor Kevin Behrer officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
