Kay Teeter(1954 - 2014)

Teeter Kay Teeter (McNama) 59. Left this earth surrounded by her family and peacefully returned to our Heavenly Father, May 3, 2014. Born August 14, 1954 to Arthur and Eva McNama in Manchester England. Preceded in death by her parents, sister Patricia Flynn, son T. Andrew Teeter II and granddaughter Samantha Teeter-Rodriguez. Survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Thomas Teeter (who she met on a greyhound bus); daughters, Kathrine Teeter of Blacklick, Ohio, Sarah (Shane) Jones and family of Columbus, Ohio; and son, Robert (Giana) Teeter USCG and family of Alexandria, Va.; seven grandchildren (who are her greatest joy); mother-in-law, Barbara Teeter originally of New Lexington, Ohio; sister, Pamela Edwards; brother, Robert McNama; and many friends. Kay is a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Kay worked as a surgery scrub technician in Labor and Delivery at Riverside Methodist Hospital. It was her dream job, only beaten by being a wife, mum and Nana. The family would like the express their heartfelt gratitude to Zusman Hospice, the nurses and staff at the James Cancer Hospital and the nurses at Mill Run Oncology. Thank you for caring for our most precious gift. Kay requests that in lieu of flowers, you hug and kiss your kids and please just show more love "to one another." Friends may call Tuesday, May 6, 2014 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.; Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2014, March 14, 2014 at 6 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 5835 Central College Rd., New Albany, OH.
