Kozlowski Leo Kozlowski, age 79, of Gahanna, OH, peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013. He was born to the late John and Julia Kozlowski on October 24, 1933 in LaPorte, IN. Leo received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. He retired as an Electrical Engineer from North American Rockwell after 28 years of service. Known as "Poppy" by his adoring grandchildren, he never missed his kid's or grandkid's sporting events. He loved being with his family and golfing. Leo and his wife, Dorothy have been members of St. Matthew the Apostle Church for over 50 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Adeline Levendowski and Lottie Mikolajewski, brother Stanley Kozlowski. He is survived by loving wife of 54 years, Dorothy; son, Steve Kozlowski; daughter, Kathy (Rob) Doone; grandchildren, Rob, Erin, and Tim Doone; brothers and sisters, Sophie Gadzala, Chet Kozlowski, Mary Skwiat, Lou (Dorothy) Kozlowski, and Aggie (Joe) Craig; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown RD. (at Beecher RD.), Gahanna. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at St. Matthew The Apostle, 807 Havens Corners Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230. Father Theodore Sill, Celebrant.
