Sidner Linda Jo Sidner, born August 9, 1952 in West Jefferson, OH, passed away on May 16, 2014 at Kobacker House. She graduated from West Jefferson High School in 1970 and attended The Ohio State University for three years. She worked for the Columbus Citizen Journal for three years before retiring from AT&T after 36 years of service. Member St. Cecilia Catholic Church, where she had been a member of the choir. Member Ohio Pioneers. Preceded in death by mother Mary P. Sidner, father Russell Sidner, sister Donna L. Sidner Fleming, brothers Warner and Charles Sidner, sister in law Lynne Kearns Sidner. Survived by sister, Barbara I. Sidner Royer; brothers, George E. (Patti Fieldner) Sidner and R. Wesley (Sherry Reiner) Sidner; many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 2693 W. Broad St., Tuesday, 4-7 p.m. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Wednesday, St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 434 Norton Rd. Father Leo Connolly, Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital, 1335 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH, 43215.
