Linda Smith Bundy

Bundy Linda Smith Bundy, 65, died on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Kobacker House in Columbus. Linda was born in Columbus Ohio, attended the Columbus School For Girls and later graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in physical therapy. She worked for 25 years at Marburn Academy with developmentally disabled children, treating 60-100 patients a year. An accomplished horsewoman, Linda rode show jumpers in the Columbus area for 10 years and qualified for competition for the Maclay Medal at Madison Square Garden New York. She loved jewelry making, her dogs and her garden. She is survived by her husband, Rand Bundy; her daughter, Laura Lampton; her grandson, Marquis Duncan; her son, Matthew Lampton; her two sisters, Victoria Tornes and Virginia Smith; and her two brothers, Peter and Michael Smith; and ten nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Claire Smith. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. SATURDAY, April 20, 2013 at POWELL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 825 E. Olentangy St., (1/4 mile east of St. Rt. 315), Powell, Ohio 43065, where visitation will be one hour (10-11 a.m.) before service time.
