Marjorie Lautermilch Spilker

Spilker Marjorie Lautermilch Spilker, age 88, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away Saturday, July 13. Daughter of Louis W. and Sarah M. Lautermilch (deceased). Born November 15, 1924, attended the Ohio State University, Life Member of OSU Alumni Assn. While Oren Spilker was serving in World War II, employed by DuPont Chemical Co. as a chemist in Cleveland. Married to Oren W. Spilker on August 31, 1946. She subsequently worked for the State of Ohio Highway Testing Lab. and as secretary to four Division Chiefs within Weights and Measures, Grain Warehouse and Plant Industry of the Ohio Department of Agriculture. Member of Historical Society and Parkview Presbyterian Church of Reynoldsburg. She is survived by sons, Wayne Spilker (Christine) of Crystal Beach, Florida and Douglas Spilker (Cathy) of Blue Springs, Missouri; and four grandchildren, Nathaniel, Maria, Brittany and Hannah. Preceded in death by her husband Oren W. Spilker. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 16, from 10-11 a.m. at COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, where a service will follow at 11 a.m. Internment at Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
