Mary Edna Knapp(1920 - 2014)

Knapp Mary Edna Knapp, age 93, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014. She was born November 20, 1920 in Vinton, Ohio to the late David and Sallie Deckard. She retired from Sears with 25 years of service. Edna was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Grove City; a former clogger in the Clog 4U Cloggers and a member of the Grove City Lioness' Club. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and spending time in her garden. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, of 35 years, George, son Robert Knapp and brother Robert Deckard. Edna is survived by her daughters, Sally (Steven) Buck, Nancy Knapp, and Fra Bagwell; grandchildren, Dianna Olsen, Donald Knapp, Dana (Nancy) Knapp, Darrell (Sandy) Maynard, Eva Howard, Kelly Maynard and Tim Knapp; seven great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2014 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3220 Columbus St., Grove City with Rev. Don Allman officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
