Maurice A. Bosse

Bosse Maurice "Maury" A. Bosse, 79, of Worthington passed away Tuesday evening, May 14, 2013 at Mount Carmel St. Ann's Hospital, Westerville surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 19, 1933 in Findlay, Ohio and proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He later received his master's degree in Vocational Agriculture from the Ohio State University. He was a teacher for Cory Rawson High School in Findlay and was also a proud carpenter and farmer. He loved working with his hands and loved all wood. He would on occasion see a piece of wood and even drag it home. He was a "true man's man". He was an avid OSU Buckeye fan who also enjoyed reading and books. In his later years, he enjoyed studying and researching Anthropology and the history of man. He also served as the National Regional Vice President of the American Suffolk Association. Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 22 years, Carroll (Dix); sons, Brooks (Ann) and Bradley Bosse of Findlay; daughter, Jennifer (Jeff) Christy of Lewis Center; six grandchildren, Darby, Collin, Chase, Erin, Nicole, and Casey; brother, Gerald (Bonnie) Bosse of Findlay; sister, Joan (John) Verhoff of Newton, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Friday, May 17 at 3 p.m. at the SNYDER-RODMAN FUNERAL CENTER, 1510 W.
