Maurice "Mac" McCoy

McCoy Maurice "Mac" McCoy, age 74, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2013 at Kobacker House in Columbus, OH. He was born May 5, 1939 in Pike County, KY to the late Arnvelle and Kathryn McCoy. He served in the U.S. Army for 9 years, including during the Vietnam War. Mac retired from Anheuser Busch Brewery in 1999 with over 30 years of service. He was a member of the Worthington Moose Lodge #1427, AmVets and Veterans of Foreign War. He is survived by his children, Sonja K. (Jan) Hendrickson, Charles E. McCoy and their mother, Marianne McCoy-Settele; grandchildren, Katie Sue and Madison Grace McCoy and Leah Sky Hendrickson; sisters, Carolyn "Pat" (Bob) Schneider and Shelby Jean McCoy; loving companion, Shirley Steere; nieces, nephews, extended family, coworkers and good friends. Family will receive friends 2-6 p.m. (Moose Memorial Service at 5:30 p.m.) Saturday, May 11, 2013 and 1-2 p.m. Sunday, May 12, 2013 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH 43209, where service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kobacker House, c/o OhioHealth Foundation, 180 E.
