Nancie Halleck-Miller

HALLECK-MILLER Nancie Halleck-Miller, 61 succumbed Wednesday, November 23, after a 6 month battle with metastatic lung CA at her sister Ruby's home. Born January 19. 1951 in Columbus, Ohio to Ace Halleck and Janet (Pariscoff) Emmert. Nancie lived her entire life in Columbus. Preceded in death by father Ace Halleck, brother Acie E. Halleck, stepson Billy Miller, maternal and paternal grandparents, special aunt Silver Henson and too many other friends and relatives to list. Survived by husband, Abe; son, Larry Halleck with two grandchildren; daughter, Shonnette (Evans) Briniser, her husband and total of six children; mother, Janet Emmert; sisters, Ruby Asbury and Allie Meade; step brothers, Fred and Gorden Wellman; special friend, Teresa (Red); and cousin, Jack Henson and three stepchildren, Daryl, Victor and Nora; many other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Nancie will be remembered for her caring, giving and nurturing spirit. Her loyalty to the Michigan Wolverines, love of Elvis, the lottery and beer.
