Nancy Gwynne Cline Bailey

Bailey Nancy Gwynne Cline Bailey, 78, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away April 7, 2013 in her home with husband and family at her side. She was born July 1, 1934 in Columbus, Ohio to parents Baldwin and Charlotte Gwynne. She is preceded in death by her mother Charlotte Gwynne, father Baldwin Gwynne, sister Susan Custis and brother Baldwin Gwynne. She is survived by her husband, Fred Bailey; children, Debbie Lore (Mike), Brad Lore (Anh), Lisa Cassell (Stephen), Jeannette Hill (Tim), Susan Bollin (Bill), and David Cline (Patte). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Nancy was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy. After receiving her B.S. in education in 1969 from The Ohio State University, she participated in the organization, development, and implementation of the Metropolitan School of Columbus. In 1991, she graduated from The Ohio State University with a masters degree in Social Work. Nancy had a love for music, which was evident in her long commitment and contributions to the Columbus Folk Music Society, Inc. and the Central Ohio Folk Festival. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to Nancy's much loved Central Ohio Folk Festival and feel it would be more appropriate. COFF, P.O. Box 20735, Columbus, OH 43220.
