Paul Anthony Roman

Roman Paul Anthony Roman, age 67, formerly of Canal Winchester, died peacefully Sunday, May 11, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his family. Born February 11, 1947 in Lares, Puerto Rico, he was a graduate of NYC Community College and The Ohio State University. He was a long-time home builder, former owner of PEAK Builders, and was retired from JP Morgan Chase. He was a member of Hope United Methodist Church in Canal Winchester, and held various offices with the Building Industry Association and the National Home Builders Association. Survived by his wife of 43 years, Kristine (Weiser) Roman; sons, Alex (Amy) Roman, Columbus, Erik (Billie Jo) Roman, St. Clairsville; grandchildren, Brendan, Isabella, Dylan, Taylor and Brody; father, Pablo (Delia) Roman, Jupiter, FL; siblings, Magda (Mike) Berrios, Angel (Elizabeth) Roman, Carmen (Graham) Taylor, Edgar (Carmen) Roman; brothers-in-law, Kile (Kathy) Weiser, Kevin (Polly) Weiser; cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his mother Magdalena Molini, and his father- and mother-in-law Don and Maxine Weiser. Friends may visit 6-9 p.m. Friday and 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Mike Roddy officiating. Interment will follow at Union Grove Cemetery.
