MOLTER Randall A. Molter, age 55 of Plain City, Ohio, passed away peacefully at 1 a.m. on Friday, November 23, 2012. He was born March 12, 1957 in Columbus to the late Clay and Winogene (Garner) Molter. He was an only child, and he loved and cared for his parents until the time of their passing. Randy is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 24 days, Rhonda S. Molter; son, Ryan (Elizabeth) Molter; daughter, Kelli Rieman; step-children, Jennifer (Mark Shriver) Garrison and Amanda (Daniel) Neylon; Grandpa's girls, Marisela and Angelina Molter; grandchildren, Cassidy and Allison Rieman; step-grandchildren, Madison and Ethan Shriver, Alyssa and Samantha Neylon; uncles and aunts, Robert Molter, Mildred (Jack) Ware, Mary Molter; and friend, Pat Howard; brother-in-law, Roy E. Hardy; nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and good friends. Randy was a 1975 graduate of Brookhaven High School. He had a long career in fire and EMS, including Delaware County EMS, Sharon Twp. Fire, Riverside Methodist Hospital ER, MICU Transport Team, and MedFlight; Jerome Twp. , Lieutenant, paramedic, hazmat tech and eventually retired as a Captain. Randy received numerous awards during his career including Firefighter of the Year and Fire Chief's Commendations. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his enthusiasm for life. He loved participating in Fireman's Park at Buckeye Lake, where he rode his very first motorcycle as a young boy. He was a member of the HOG Motorcycle Club for over 17 years, was a gun enthusiast and member of the NRA for over 23 years, had his pilot's license and was an accomplished musician, having written and recorded music and played guitar and piano. Randy was loved and appreciated by so many people and will truly be missed. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 26 and 2-4 and 6-8 Tuesday, November 27 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH 43229 where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 28; Pastor Steve Petty and Pastor Larry Baker, officiating; interment in Jerome Twp.
