Ruede Raymond Cecil "Ray" Ruede, 83, of Lockbourne, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2013 at OSU Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 24, 1929 to the late Gotlieb and Dora Ruede in Walker, South Dakota as a real cowboy. He was preceded in death by his infant granddaughter Teresa. He is survived by loving wife of 55 years, Lois; daughter, Cheryl (Larry) Seymour; sons, Michael and Larry (Jessica); seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 10 step-great grandchildren; and two great- great-grandchildren; brother, Junior; sisters, Alice, Olivia, and Betty; sister-in-law, Brenda (Steve) Bernard; brother-in-law, Bob (Pam) Trent; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ray was a talented craftsman who owned Ruede Custom Cabinet shop along with his brother and sons for more than 30 years. He loved to travel in his RV and see our beautiful nation. One of his favorite past times on these trips were panning for gold. He loved to tell us stories about when he was a cowboy and the Indians he lived next door to as a kid. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Friends may call on Sunday, February 17, 2013 from 2-5 p.m. at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City where the funeral service will be held on Monday, February 18, 2013 at 10 a.m. Pastor John Beverly officiating.
