Raymond Russell McLane

McLANE Raymond Russell McLane died at home in Centerburg, Ohio, on December 23, 2012. He was born in Shelbyville, Indiana, on October 22, 1921, but lived most of his life in Columbus, Ohio. Ray was the son of Robert and Margaret (Morgan) McLane. He was predeceased by his grandson Michael Reynolds, his parents, five brothers and three sisters. Ray was a veteran of the U. S. Army, and served in the ETO during World War II. He was a member and past master of Humboldt Lodge #476, F.&A.M. Ray worked as an engineer with the Pennsylvania and Norfolk-Southern Railways and was a carpenter who loved woodworking. Ray is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jean (nee Brewer); son, Stephen (Liz); daughter, Susan (Jeff) Reynolds; grandchildren, John McLane, Adam McLane and Lindsay Reynolds, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
