NEIDERHAUSER Richard Wayne Neiderhauser, age 91, passed Monday, November 05, 2012 at his home in Grove City, Ohio. He was born in Antrim Township, Wyandot County, son of the late Elza and Melvina (Cochran) Neiderhauser. Graduated Nevada High School 1939. Attended The Ohio State University

veteran. Episcopalian by faith. Married for 41 years to the late Maxine Cammarn, raised four daughters. Retired from Conrail after 36 years of service including Erie Lackawanna Railroad. In 1984 married Rosemary Smith and became step-father to another daughter and three sons. After retirement worked 10 years at The Buckeye Ranch, and most recent as Co-owner of Hoover Haus, Assisted Living Center, Grove City. Life member of Nevada Lodge 343 F&AM, Scioto Valley Consistory; Chapter OES Bucyrus, Grove City Evening Lions Club, and VFW
Post 1078 Bucyrus. Served on Ohio Lions Eye Research Foundation as Executive Director for 25 years, and Board of Directors for North American Conference of Lion's Foundations. Other lifetime activities included family, church, Boy Scouts, PTA, band boosters, theater, baseball coaching, golf, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. In addition to his parents, Dick is preceded in death by his brother Glen Neiderhauser, sons-in-law William Abbott and Thomas Holdcraft. Survived by wife, Rosemary; children, Nancy (Larry) Newman, Sterling VA, Mary Neiderhauser, Chicago, IL, Janis Holdcraft, Nevada, OH, Susan Abbott (George Denzer), Mascotte, FL, Shelly Smith, Albuquerque, NM, Wyatt (Miranda) Smith, Mt. Sterling, OH, Quinten Smith, Upper Arlington, OH, Zachary Smith, Port Charlotte, FL; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, John (Jean) Roush; pets, Hauser and Monster; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Friday, November 9, 2012 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City. Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2012 at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Upper Sandusky. Pastor Charles Stewart officiating.
