Robert F. West

WEST Robert F. West, age 79, life-long resident of Columbus, OH, passed on November 6, 2012. He was born on July 25, 1933 to the late Charles and Louise West. Preceded in death by sister Kathryn Gregg and brother William West. Survived by daughter, Brenda; son, Drew; three grandchildren, Brandon, Grant and Nathan; brother, Charles; and brother-in-law, Lowell Gregg; many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Graduate of North High School, class of 1951. Attended The Ohio State University, Franklin University, RIT, IBM Sales School and many courses in industrial management. Stationed in Atsugi, Japan during the Korean conflict. Member of VFW Post 7005, West Jefferson, OH. Bob's professional career was in publishing beginning in 1961. Working for and then owning Boulevard Publications, Inc. His efforts helped supply the financial community for over 24 years with the magazine titled "Ideas for Better Living". His monthly publication created goodwill and valued-added contact for hundreds of financial institutions across the country. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 between 6--8 p.m. at his residence, located at 1053 Kendale Rd. N., Columbus, OH 43220. All who knew him are welcome.
