Ruth Mae Smith, age 79, Sunrise, May 21, 1938 in Columbus, OH to Willie and Georgia Webster. Sunset, July 16, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital. Educated at Licking Heights School System. Preceded in death by parents, Willie and Georgia Webster; son, Andrew Keith Smith; brother, Eugene "Gene" Bussey. Survived by daughter, Marcia Smith Josey; son, Leslie Vern Smith; sister, Willa Jackson and Mary "Russell" Momon; grandchildren, Dexter, Deshana "Shana", Edward "Eddie" Josey, Jonathan Howell, Chelsea "Reina" Smith, Yalanda "Chellie" Smith, Christina Crawford, Alex Smith, Briana and Brandon Smith; great-grandchildren, Kristien, Gabrielle, Zania Josey, Zavier Josey, Aniah McCauley, Braxton Robinson, Zahzara "Jazzy" Johnson, Rodney "RJ" Hudlin, Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A celebration will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Trinity Baptist Church, 461 St. Clair Ave., Rev. Dr. Victor M. Davis, Officiant. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estate. Arrangements by C. D. WHITE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1217 Mt. Vernon Ave.
