William Hart

HART William "Bill" Hart. Bill was born in Columbus, OH on March 9, 1940 and died January 24, 2013. He attended Aquinas High School and was a 1958 graduate. He enlisted in the Navy in 1958 and was honorably discharged in 1965. He then retired from the Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation, working at many hydroelectric power plants throughout the United States. He was a regular blood donor to the American Red Cross and was awarded his ten gallon pin. Predeceased by parents Virginia (Little) Hart and Charles Hart and one daughter Deborah (Hart) Wilds. Survivors include sister, Rosemary (Hart) Martin (Frank) of Grove City, OH; and brother, Robert of Electric City, WA; and daughters, Sandra Markin and Carman Williams of Marysville, OH; and two grandchildren, Dena (Wilds) Klosterman (Aaron) of Dayton, OH and Scott Williams of Marysville, OH; and three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; also best friend and companion, Carol Berryman of Las Cruces, NM; and many friends nationwide. After retirement, he assumed the title of neighborhood dog walker and duck feeder. He was also known as "the two dollar Bill". He was an avid garage saler and when he was not busy, he loved to travel. A viewing for family and friends will be held Saturday, January 26 at 10 a.m. at GETZ FUNERAL HOME with a celebration of life to immediately follow at the home of Carol Berryman. Naval commital service to the sea will be held at a later date. The family wishes to have donations made to the Animal Service Center of Mesilla Valley in lieu of any flowers or monetary donations.
