Nancy, my deepest sympathy to you and the family in the aftermath of this loss of your beloved Nick. He will be with you always in spirit and yes, it will seem like you cannot live without him. He does not want you to grieve for long but remember him with the love you carry deep within your heart. You take your time and heal as you need to heal but it does get better. I will keep you in my prayers.

Nick was a great community leader. Always quick to serve in any capacity to help others. He is and always will be dear to our family. We learned so much from him. He was a true conservative who has always put others first. We love you Nick.

I was honored to serve in the Ohio ANG with Nick for many years, and we travelled the world together. He was always a dependable, knowledgeable professional who got the job done with a smile on his face under often poor conditions. I used Nick for a handyman in our home for a number of projects, and he always did first-class work. I will always think of Nick as I pass the huge sign in front of the Ricart Ford megamall. That was one of Nick's projects. His personality and talents will be missed.

Nick, Nancy and Stephen were our neighbors for many years. Nick' s Christmas lights & decorations were enjoyed by countless families. Nick was a friend who was always ready & willing to help out in anyway needed. He fought his battle with great courage. We will miss him terribly.

Thank you, Uncle Milton, for every kindness you showed Ben and me when we were starting out, and for all the ways you welcomed Shannon into your clan of friends and family. You could always make everyone laugh out loud whenever we felt crying; we're going to miss that as we deal with your loss. All my condolences to the family that will miss you so much.

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch. We may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.
