Jack was also my classmate at L-M in the early and mid 50's. I was happy to see him at the most recent class reunion and he is near myself in the class picture. Very happy to see he is a Christian. That means a lot.

Dear Ms. Spicer : As a kid growing up in the late 1960's I used to reside right across the alley from your family @ 124 Mossman Ave. when you lived on Vine St. in Westerville. Jack used to park his D'Ball truck across from our house from time to time when he got home late from a gig.....still remember "Honey Pot," billed as the feature performer. Your husband was a very kind & decent man that my folks thought alot of & who always treated me well. In fact I almost went to work for him one summer but I already had another job. My older sister informed me that she attended Linden in '56 w/ Richard; said she went to his graduation party and that he too was a good guy. Her name is Mary Lou Dunfee, small world I guess. May the grace of God & these few words bring comfort to you all.

I am so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. My most vivid memory is when Basar was an exchange student from Turkey during my Rotary presidency year. Basar loved donkeys and I can remember Jack taking her to the farm to meet the donkeys and she was thrilled.

Several times a week in a Silver Sneakers exercise class and it didn't take long to realize that Jack was funny, friendly and an all around nice guy. He was vibrant and probably an inspiration to all of us. With Symapthy, Jim & Sherry Griffith

Dear Saundra: I am so very sorry to hear of the death of Jack. It was a pleasure to re-connect with your both in 2005 when I returned for the first time in 40 years to visit my friends and classmates in Columbus. I remember the breakfast at Bob Evans, and the drive around town we shared to reacquaint me with the city that has changed so overwhelmingly in all these years. Jack was a fine person who truly cared about others. I know your loss is deep for you were his soul mate. As time passes, memories of those wonderful years you shared will sustain and ease some of the grief you are experiencing now. My thoughts are with you as always. Kindest regards from your LInden McKinley classmate of 1955. Dr. Kathleen Olsson-Nelson (Moran), Colfax, California
