My Golden Retriever, Buddy, and I visit West Park about once a week. I was so sad to hear that Pete passed away. I truly enjoyed talking to him. His family and friends will be in my thoughts and prayers.

My condolences to Pete's family on the passing of a fine gentleman. Pete was my father's roomate for a time at Columbus West Park until my father passed away in 2001. What a great team they made. Pete was a bit confused about where he was and why but he was spry and could get around nicely. My dad had suffered a stroke and knew where he was but couldn't get around well. When it was time to eat, dad would tell where to go and Pete would get them there. Our family was always grateful for Pete's help. We are sorry for the loss of a good man.
