"Time endures but cannot fade all of the memories love has made"
I received this in a card when my father passed away. It stung at first, so painful. But now I know just how true it is. He's been gone along time - still feels like yesterday. But now I can think of him and smile.
Thinking of you today. Lots of news about your fathers death today with the sentencing of the drunk drive that took his life. Must be hard on you. So I'm thinking of you tonight.

I was just cleaning off my desk and found a note about the passing of Vince Canzani, and realized that I had heard about this on the national news. It finally hit home that was the same person. As Treasurer of the USS Holland AS-32 Association and a fellow missile technician, we were brothers in the service to our country. On behalf of the USS Holland AS-32 Association I would like to express our sincere condolences and wish the family "Calm Winds and Following Seas." Gary Stowe, Treasurer, USS Holland AS-32 Association.

We used to pick on him when he would come to CCAD, with his dad, Dean Canzani. He was always a good sport about it and we all liked him. I, for one, am sorry to hear about the tragic accident and I know he will be missed.
Again, I am so sorry for your lose.

I saw the news today for the first time. I was shocked to see the name and photo of my old friend and former associate, Vince. Vince worked for me at Pepsi in South Carolina. A few years later he followed me to WVA to join Coca-Cola. Obviously we believed in each other. I certainly believed in him. I am personally saddened and I pray for the remaining family. I am sure his strength and character lives on through you.
Respectfully and tearfully,

I didn't have the honor of knowing Vincent, and realize I am rather late in offering my thoughts... (like many who may follow, I just learned this story on CNN) but... I, too, was an SSBN Missile Technician during the early 80s through the early 90s. I was stationed in USS Simon Bolivar in those years, and while our paths never crossed (to my knowledge), I knew him.. as a Brother of the Phin, as a submarine qualified Missile Technician, I know WHO he was, even if I don't know who he was. If you wore dolphins, that'll make sense. Rest your oar, shipmate. We have the watch.
