Could not in a million moons tell my life adventures with Gary George!! All good and belly laugh worthy!! Just so sorry I didn't know at the time!! So sorry Kelly and Craig. And these are just MY stories. John Francis has a million also!! Just one: he used to hitch hike up to my house on Pntiac Street and lay in front of my radio listening to the Columbus Red Birds. I thought he came to see me!!! No TVs in those days. We put our initials in the newly poured cement sidewalk on the corner of Oakland Park and Mohican. I wonder if they are still there!! May God keep you in His care til I get there!!

I heard of Gary's passing on December 19, 2017, but never saw his obituary in the Dispatch. Many of his high school buddies wondered (hoped) that it was just another Gary prank. So, Gary is gone but, not the very fond memories so many of his friends and family hold so dearly. He was truly one of a kind and he now joins his BFF John Francis, venue in question. This much we know, Gary's friendship was precious, his friends were legion and his absence leaves a void that's impossible to fill.
