Eileen & I were introduced in Chicago by a dear friend, Jennie Orr, almost 40 years ago. Our real friendship began in the 1980's when she purchased a condo in the same development as Jennie, in Ft. Myers, Florida. After Jennie's death in 1997, Eileen invited me to stay in her condo so that I could continue to make those yearly one week trips to Florida to escape the winter weather. We had many enjoyable times together, esp. visiting nature sanctuaries, one of our common interests. I will miss Eileen and am thankful for her friendship and generosity to me.

Dear Janice and Family,
We were saddened to learn of Eileen's death, and we send our sympathy for your loss. My mom (Edith) always counted Eileen as one of her dearest friends, even though they didn't meet until after both were retired, living in Pickerington (on one of those wonderful trips that the Pickerington Senior Center offered). They were strangers from two different backgrounds before that trip, and fast-friends for all the years (and miles) after it. Our prayers are with you.

Sincerely,
Edith Keaton Lunn and Family
