I miss you every single day Dad. Your love and laughter is a great absence in our lives and it's a hard thing to accept, but I keep my head held high knowing that's all you would want. I can't believe you have almost been gone a year now.

I knew Bob from nursing school. I'll never forget all the times he made me laugh and all the time we spent together in clinicals and in class. He helped me get through some tough times and he was always willing to listen. So sad to hear of his passing. I won't forget him.

i am so sorry to learn this news of bob's passing. i had the pleasure of meeting him in nursing school. we had clinicals together several times. he was always so nice and helpful to everyone. he was such a good guy who clearly loved his family too.

My heart and prayers go out to Debbie and her family and Mark , Susan and families. Bob was like another son to me . Our families have been intertwined for many years going back to Bob's Dad when I was a young girl. Bob has a place in my heart . Memories of him will always be with me and our family. He had a special place in our family. Our family will always cherish all our memories of him. Bob will be truly missed. He was a great man in every aspect. I was blessed to have worked with him and he defenitely made long days not seem so bad. I loved his humor. He will be missed. My heart goes out to every person affected by this loss.

My heart goes out to Bob's family, Debbie and Bob's beautiful children Ryan, Michelle, and Paige. It hurts to lose such a close and loyal friend as Bob. He has always been a little brother to the Layton family. I agree so much with the words from his brother Mark. There are so many wonderful childhood memories and countless good times shared in adulthood as well. Bob always had a big heart and cherished his family. There is so much to say but so hard to put into words. Bob is loved by many people and we all will miss him dearly.
My thoughts and prayers to Bob's family. I just thank God to have had Bob as a friend and for all of the happy times that he gave to all of us.

First of all, thanks for all of your thoughts, prayers and condolences. Bob was a son, grandson, husband, father, grandfather, son-in-law, brother-in-law, father-in-law, great nephew, uncle, great uncle, classmate, teammate, friend, coach, mentor, I'm sure I have left something out, and most of all, he was the younger/little brother to me and Susan. Yes, he is gone, but he will never be forgotten. For the most part, he lived by the Golden Rule, treat others how you would want to be treated. Life is way to short as we have just found out.
So when you are out there, in this world we live in and you see someone down, try to give them a hand and help them up. You may never know when you will need that same type of helping hand and affection. Let your family members and friends know you love them and care about them. Hug them and kiss them and let them know they mean something special to you. Because you never know when the last time you see them is going to be.

Sincere condolences to the entire McFadyen family, including his brother Mark. As little kids, growing up, those two were inseparable. From WBBA to sandlot football, Bob was a good HS football player and hard-nosed Whitehall athlete.
"It takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, and a day to love them, but it takes an entire lifetime to forget them."

Words at this time never really capture the thoughts and sadness one feels when one of their own passes away especially when they leave us at such a young age. My time knowing Bob and Debbie was during the early Limited years, great individuals and better as a team. What I can say...I always enjoyed his friendship, his dedication to the job we did a lot of good work together and his smile...he enjoyed the journey. We lost touch with each other over the years but he will always have a place in my heart.

Still shocked by this sad news. I worked with Bob at The Limited for years and he was a great and loyal friend, always there with words of encouragement, and he was so much fun.
