Some of my most laughfilled moments are with Hallie and Hollie @ Center Jr. High. Hallie was full of life, smiles, had a genuine caring heart and was always up for silliness or an adventure. Whether it was choir, science class or chatting in the halls/lunch, Hallie always had something to say :) Prayers for Hallie's family - may there be cherished and joy-filled memories.

I don't know Hallie, but I read the obituary in the paper as I was looking for the notice of an acquaintance. Your love for her came through and touched my spirit. I will try to make a world a better place. I extend my sympathies to you. She must have been a wonderful spirit.

I did not know either Hallie or Hollie, but I lost my identical twin sister to cancer recently. We got the diagnosis on our birthday. She is my eternal best friend, and on the day she died I tried very hard to go with her. Our best friend from high school found a support group, www.twinlesstwins.org. The surviving twins "get it". If Hollie is as devastated as I am, go to their website. I just got back from the national conference, and it is healing. If you join (dues are 50 dollars a year),you can get on their chatroom with lone twins from all over the world. Our two brothers and parents are grieving, but only another twinless twin knows your pain. I am signing off as all the twinless do,

To Hallie's Wonderful Family,
I had the great honor and pleasure to work closely with Hallie at Mirror Lake Cafe on the OSU campus. What a joy - such a kind, generous and caring spirit!! Truly a remarkable human being-
one of a kind, the Best kind!
There's nothing she wouldn't do to help someone in need. Hallie and Hollie loved to shop and were always finding such great deals. They gave away more than they kept because they loved to "spread a 'bit of happiness".
Hallie loved her family and of course "her Andy". They gave her strength, comfort, much love and she was so proud of them all!!
She packed so much living and loving in to her 28 short years. Hallie made a difference and we are all better for having known her!!
With my deepest sympathy - Martha Cull

Hollie this is for you and your family~ I know that no words can truly say how sorry we feel for your loss, just be comforted by knowing she is with God now and not in pain. I came across this poem and thought it might help you through this time of sadness~
Miss Me, But Let Me Go
Author Unknown
When I come to the end of the road,
and the sun has set for me.
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little—but not too long,
and not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that was once shared.
Miss me, but let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take, and each must go alone.
It’s all a part of the master’s plan, a step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart, go to the friends we know.
Bear your sorrow in good deeds. Miss me, but let me go.

To Hollie and the entire Renninger family: Some of my fondest junior high and high school memories include Hallie and Hollie. Hallie was a sweet, good natured friend that I don't have a single negative memory of. She was kind, and gentle in her ways, and she was a good friend to me in some of the more challenging times in my life. I am so sorry this has happened to all of you. I hope that the memories of your beautiful daughter and sister make the days easier that are ahead.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Hallie since grade school. Living behind eachother, we spent a lot of time together growing up. From sleepovers to birthday parties and a little bit of everything in between. Even as a little girl, Hallie was such gentle soul, she always had such a sweet presence surrounding her. She truly was somebody that I feel honored to have known.
My prayers are with you, the Renninger family. I know the journey of learning to live without her is just beginning, but I pray your memories of her will brighten the darkest day.

Hollie & Family,
It has been almost 10 years since I've seen or spoke to Hallie, but I will always have fond memories of her from high school. She was one of the sweetest, smartest and funniest people I can think of! I will never forget meeting her in English class our first day/period of freshman year. I was new to public school, and she instantly offered a smile and kind words when I took the seat next to her. She helped me become acquainted with the school and some of the other people in our class. She was truly my angel on earth that day. I enjoyed having class with her for the following four years - because she could always put a smile on my face!
To her family, I am very sorry for your loss and you are all in my prayers. Hollie - if you ever need anything (I know it's been so long) please don't hesitate to get in touch with me.

Although I only met Hallie once or twice when she visited Hollie at work, I was struck by her cheerfulness no matter what she was going through. The way Hollie spoke of her, with such love and pride, I felt like I already knew her. Hallie was so brave, such a fighter, and her memory and courage will live on.

I'm so sorry for your loss Andy!!! You and your family are in my prayers!!
Remember
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
