Today I was reminded of Ralph's passing and even though it's been 12 years it still is unreal. I remember a man so full of life, a teammate, friend, and athlete who impressed me every day and encouraged me to be my best. I am forever thankful. I miss him all over again.

"To: Melinda and Nicholas, I knew Ralphie in high school in the ABC house in Concord N.H. He was such a good friend to me, in fact to all of us in the house. He made us laugh so much, especially during quiet homework time when we were supposed to be studying. I have so many wonderful memories of the two years that I knew him. I am so sorry for your loss. Heaven has a wonderful person and it will be really nice to see him again when I get there. One of the ways he would make us laugh is he would speak Spanish at a really fast rate, did he still do that? (smile)..."Evette Jarvis (Chichester, N.H.)

I just learned of Ralph's death. While I have not been in touch with him in a long time, we were friends in college and I enjoyed Ralph's good heart and his wonderful sense of humor and warm smile. May his memory be for a blessing and may he rest in peace.

I was so saddened to hear about Ralph's death. I have such fond memories of him from our time at Brandeis University together. I especially remember when I and my Jewish friends would attend his Gospel Choir concerts. There was so much energy in the room. It is clear from reading the other entries that music was a major part of his life as it was in college. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Ralph's family.

Ralph's talent touched so many lives. He played at my mother's funeral, Betty Jones, and both of my grandparents. I was unable to make it back to Ohio in time for his funeral, but my heart and prayers were there and I continue to pray for comfort during the family's bereavement. His crown is surely full of jewels as he allowed Christ to use him as a vessel for bearing much fruit. May you feel our love across the miles and know that we are praying for you during this difficult time.
Peace, comfort, and love,

I just heard today about Ralph's passing from my sister. Please know that my prayers are with you and your family. Ralph was talented and touched my life as a young teenager. His love for music motivated me to learn more about this craft. There were a few times were Ralph played for me, my mother (Betty Jones), and my aunt (Celestine Mitchell). Ralph will truly be missed; but, his love for music and life will live on through his family, friends, and the many lives he touched. God Bless you Sis. Conley, Melinda, and the rest of your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Felicia L. Jones (Daughter of the late Betty J. Jones - Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith/Brentnell)

I worked with Ralph at Bank One several years ago. What stands out in my mind is that beautiful smile he always had planted on his face. To the Conley Family and the Zion Christian Assembly Family - Dan and I first met Ralph many years ago when he became one of the musicians for Tim Hitchcock's group that we were all a part of. During those years, we were able to get to know him well and appreciate his quirky, humorous side. He was also always willing to take the time out of his busy schedule to rehearse with Dan or I if we were coming to Zion to minister. He was a great musician and will be missed by all who knew him. May The Lord watch over and keep you all during this time of bereavement.

To the Conley Family, I am stunned by the passing of Ralph. It was just late last year that I ran into him a Byer's Import where he was encountering some problems with his car. I have known Ralph ( and Melinda) since they were both in high school working as interns for Nationwide Insurance company. Ralph was a beautifully saved young man that had a focus on serving the Lord in every way. I will forever remember that wonderful smile he had and the praise of God that stayed on his lips! Rest on Ralph for we shall all see you again when God comes back for the rest of his own. Melinda -- The Bible tells us weeping may endurth for a night but joy cometh in the morning. Please know I will be praying for you , your son and your family as you endure this separation from Ralph.
God Bless you all!
