Ruth Sudduth Obituary

Sudduth Ruth E. (Wright) Sudduth, age 62, passed away on June 22, 2015. She was born on September 11, 1952, to Charles Eskel Wright and Edna Jane (Webb) Wright of Grove City, OH. She graduated from Grove City High School (Class of 1970) and Trevecca Nazarene College. Ruth was an elementary school teacher for over 30 years in Kansas City, Xenia (OH), and St. Louis (MO), mainly teaching kindergarten through 2nd grade. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry L. Sudduth, who died on June 6, 2015. They were married 40 years. She is survived by her daughter, Erin Sudduth (and son-in-law, Patrick Culver); sister, Cathy Ewing; brother, Alan (Kathy) Wright; sister-in-law, Janet Sudduth; and many other beloved family members and friends. A graveside memorial will be held at 11 a.m. on June 30 at Concord Cemetery, 6244 Hoover Rd., Grove City, OH 43123. Contributions may be made in Ruth's memory to the James Cancer Hospital, checks payable to OSUCCC - James, Office of Medical Center Development, P.O. Box 183112, 660 Ackerman Road, Columbus, OH 43218-3112. Please note that your gift is being made in memory of Ruth Sudduth. We are so saddened to hear of Ruths passing. She was certainly a princess. We went to Nazarene Church with Ruth for years. We know how the family will miss her. May the Lord comfort you all during this time of sorrow.
