Adam (Abe) E Hudek, 87, passed away at home in Worthington, Ohio. Adam is predeceased by his wife Pauline (Zalot) Hudek, parents Adam and Mary Hudek, brothers James Hudek, Joseph Hudek, Steve Hudek, Anthony Hudek and his twin brother Benedict Hudek and sisters Helen Hudek, Ann Dietz and Mary Lang. He is survived by his children, Robin Mitchell, Denise Olsen, Joseph Hudek, Frank Hudek; grandchildren, Renee' Olsen, Gerald Olsen, Danielle Phillips, Mandi Bidelman, Samantha Shook, Miriam Cole, Peter Mitchell, Adam Hudek, Bethany Hudek, and Erica Huss; sisters, Antoinette Masey and Martha Hoffman and 9 great-grandchildren. He retired from General Refractories in Warren, Ohio after 30 years and was a member of St Williams Catholic Church in Champion, Ohio. Adam was a beloved husband and father. He enjoyed playing guitar and singing. He was a gardener and well-traveled. He loved taking photos of family and places where he and his wife Pauline traveled. He won trophies for golf, bowling and spent many years playing softball on city leagues. He possessed a strong love of God and enjoyed people. He was especially known by his smile and witty sense of humor. Funeral Service to be held Saturday, Feb 24, 2018 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St, Worthington, Ohio. Visiting hours are from 2-3 pm with a service to follow at 3 pm with Pastor Cyndy Garn officiating. Adam will be cremated and placed with his wife, Pauline in Meadowbrook Memorial Park Cemetery in Champion Township, Ohio.
