Moneysmith Alberta L. Moneysmith, of Worthington, Ohio, died on April 3, 2017, at the Wesley Glen Special Care Unit. She was the daughter of Chester and Lepha Walker Swank, born in Richland Co. Ohio on March 4, 1929, and grew up in Ashland County, Ashland, Ohio. Mrs. Moneysmith, a retired RN from the OSU Medical Center, enjoyed various volunteer activities, was a nature enthusiast, and belonged to the Worthington Area Nurses Association and All Saints Lutheran Church. She is survived by husband, John F. Moneysmith; son, James A Moneysmith; daughter, Jayne A. Moneysmith (Brent Stansen); grandsons, Jackson and Jacob; two sisters, Mary (Glenn) Thompson, Ashland, Ohio and Dorothy (David) Summy, Dowagiac, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Chester, Jr. A Funeral service will be held at All Saints Lutheran Church, Worthington, Ohio, on Friday, April 7 at 11 a.m., with burial to follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to All Saints Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer's Foundation. Arrangements handled by RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME.
