Burnett Barbara Ann (Jarolimek) Burnett, age 71, of Westerville, peacefully passed away on September 4, 2013, at the Kobacker House. Barbara was born in Medina, Ohio on the 20th of June, 1942, to the late Catherine (Kate) and Charles (Chuck) Jarolimek. She retired as Corporate Client Relations Manager for Victoria's Secret Stores in 2004. Barbara is survived by her loving family including her husband of 14 years, Richard; her brother, James (Tamara) Jarolimek; her children, Connie (Jeffrey) Shields of Baltimore, Ohio, Gerald Alan (Karen E.) Otterbacher of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Cathy (Michael) Bassani of Worthington, and Kristin (Robert) Davis of Worthington; step-daughters, Ginny (Tim) Etienne, Rosalie (John) Graham, Kathy (Jack) Slaven, Christina (Larry) Dixon and Beckie (Tom) Gilbert; grandchildren, Benjamin, Daniel, Jacob, Jared Shields, Melissa Hendricks, Amanda Alexander, Harrison, Charles, Miriam Bassani, Nathan, Zachary Davis, Michelle, James Beyer, Joshua, Aaron Graham, Todd, Adam Slaven, Kelly Vance, Matthew Dixon, Jeremy Hiles; niece Claire Jarolimek; aunts, Patricia Pritchard and Margaret Trevis; cousin, Jeanne Pritchard; other cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition, Barbara is survived by an ever growing number of great grandchildren. Barbara was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Barbara was an avid flower gardener and baker. She loved large gatherings at their home where her hospitality was immeasurable and there was always room for one more. Nothing was more important to Barbara than her family being near. Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day were special days filled with wonderful food and much laughter. At Barbara's request, the family plans to have an open house to celebrate and honor her life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network, or Ohio Health Hospice Kobacker House, Arrangements have been entrusted to the DeVORE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, Sunbury, Ohio.
