Betty Jane Debth, 98, of Columbus, Ohio, and formerly of Toledo, Point Place community, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. Betty was a secretary for Owens Illinois in Toledo for 7 yrs. retiring 1985, and worked in public relations and advertising for Flournoy & Gibbs for 15 yrs., in Toledo. She was a member of Point Place United Church of Christ, the Ladies Oriental Shrine, Eastern Star Lotus Chapter, Scottish Rite Auxiliary, the Elizabethans Women's Group, Ladies Shrine Chorus, and Dendarah Court. She was born October 20, 1919 in Columbus, to the late Edgar K and Ora (Bush) Faubel. She married Harold C. Debth and he preceded her in death on July 9, 1992.Also preceding her in death was her son, Ronald Irion. Betty is survived by her daughters, Carol Ross and Janet Fetherolf; daughter-in-law, Judi Irion; stepchildren, Timothy (Barbara) Debth, Linda (Jim) Mahaney, and Deborah Debth; sister, Edna Gordon; brother-in-law, Jim Debth; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2017 at David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit Street, Toledo, Ohio 43611. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 in the funeral home. Rev. Jon Komperda will be officiating. Entombment at Toledo Memorial Park.
