Lirtzman Bonnie L. Lirtzman, proud Columbus Police Officer, passed from this life on Saturday, May 10, 2014. Married to Ethan Lirtzman, Bonnie was a loving mother to Emily, Alexander and Kainan. Always brave and tenacious, Bonnie battled cancer with the same courage and ferocity she brought to her work, family and friends. Survived by her parents, Steve and Sherry Sberna; sisters, Katie (Brett) Barker, Stephanie Hawk; father-in-law, Allan (Susie) Lirtzman; sisters-in-law, Alexandra Lirtzman, Abigail (Tomo) Ono; brother-in-law, Efrem Lirtzman; grandparents, James and Jennie Taylor, Carl and Marcia Sberna; and many aunts, uncles and cousins, nieces and nephews, in addition to her brothers and sisters from the Columbus Division of Police. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 18 from 2-6 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., with the Fraternal Order of Police Services beginning at 5:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held Monday, May 19 at Powell United Methodist Church, 825 E.
