Braunda (Bonnie) Matheny Kincaid, 92, formerly of Columbus, OH, passed away peacefully at Northside Hospital in Woodstock, GA on Sunday, November 19, 2017. She was born on September 6, 1925 in Bartow, WV to Ira and Pattie (Marshall) Matheny. She had been a member of the Durbin (WV) Methodist Church. For the past few years Bonnie had been a resident of Brookdale Senior Living in Woodstock. In 2013 she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Edwin (Pete) Kincaid. The couple had previously lived in Columbus, OH for 45 years; Huntington, WV for 10 years; and Durbin, WV for 12 years. Over the years Bonnie enjoyed gardening, singing, poetry, playing piano, and the company of her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed following the sports teams at Ohio State University. Bonnie is survived by a son, Dan (Vicki) Kincaid of The Villages, FL; a son, Michael Kincaid of Pennington, NJ; and two daughters, Marsha Kincaid and Melinda (Tom) Belisle, both of Woodstock, GA. In addition, she is survived by grandchildren, Jeff (Emma) Kincaid of Redondo Beach, CA, Brent (Marie) Kincaid of Winfield, WV, Shannon (Steve) Lough of Morgantown, WV, Kristen Kincaid of Yardley, PA, Jack and Zoe Belisle of Woodstock, GA; and great grandchildren, Benjamin Kincaid, Julie Baskaron, and PJ Baskaron of Redondo Beach, CA, Luke, Ethan, and Stella Kincaid of Winfield, WV, Sydney and Sarah Lough of Morgantown, WV. Bonnie was also preceded in death by her parents, her sister Elizabeth, brothers Marshall and Ted and daughter-in-law Lynn Kincaid. A small service is being held on Friday, December 1, 2017, at 1:30 pm in the chapel at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Columbus, OH, followed by interment next to her husband.
