Yenichek, Carl
Carl Paul Louis Yenichek, born on February 22, 1924 to Joseph and Mary Yehichek of Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia. A WWII Army Veteran, Carl married the love of his life, Mary Ann, on September 10, 1949. Carl retired from Crane Plastics, a member of St. Ladislas Church, and the American Legion. Carl is survived by his 3 children, Carl M. Yenichek, Jean (Charles) Fleshman and Cheryl (Gary) Carroll; many grandchildren, including Amy (Chad) Flickinger, Leslie (David) DeChellis, Gary and Jason Carroll, Molly (Joey) Feck; numerous great grandchildren who Carl loved to have visit him, including, Gracie, Maci, Allen, Cassidy and Skyler, that proudly called him Paw Paw Chek. Carl was a John Wayne fanatic, an avid Buckeyes and Bengals fan, he enjoyed working in his garage and garden, and most of all, spending time with his best friend, daughter and caregivers Cheryl and Gary Carroll at the casinos. Friends received Sunday 2-4 and 6-8pm at the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI Funeral Home, 1068 S. High St. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am Monday at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel, 6440 S.
