Seiss Carrie B. Seiss, 96, of Muncie, Indiana, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at The Woodlands Nursing Home in Muncie. She was born on July 7, 1917, to late Levin Edgar and Lovina Ellen (Bleile) Pippenger in Albion, Indiana. She was a member of the First Brethren Church in Columbus, Ohio. Carrie was very active in church activities, and was a Sunday School Teacher in Ohio. She was a very loving individual, especially with her family. Carrie was the youngest of nine children, and was the last surviving child. She sold Avon for thirty-two years and would walk her route, retiring after age 78. Carrie is survived by a loving family consisting of her daughters, Kathy Planton (husband, Michael) of Muncie, Indiana, Karen Adams (husband, Pat) of Gahanna, Ohio; and grandchildren, Bethany Turner (husband, Gary) of Kentucky, Bailey Planton of Muncie, Kristy Adams of Gahanna, Ohio, and Kelsey Adams of Gahanna, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 57 years, Ora Seiss Jr. and her eight siblings. A private burial will be held in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
