YOCKEL Charles L. Yockel, born in 1928 in the Bronx, New York, passed away suddenly on September 3, 2011, the son of the late Lawrence Yockel and Ann (Reilly) Yockel. A graduate of New York University, he worked full time to put himself through college and graduate school. He retired from Borden as director of marketing after 43 years of service. Survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Joan M. (Kehoe) Yockel; devoted son, Christopher L. Yockel; and a wonderful, loving family from the East coast. Charlie was a true renaissance man who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and considered himself blessed. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2011 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, corner of N. High St. and E. Dominion Blvd., Clintonville.
