Aberman Cody William Aberman, 27, of Pickerington, passed away in his sleep suddenly and unexpectedly on July 1, 2014 in Sisters, Oregon. Born March 8, 1987 in Columbus, Ohio; Cody is survived by his mother, Lori Leigh Mohler of Pickerington; sister, Ashleigh Morgan Canfield (Cory) of Reynoldsburg; maternal grandparents, William and June Mohler of Pickerington; nieces, Chloe Buynak and Cadance Canfield of Reynoldsburg; Uncle Charles Mohler of Sisters, Oregon; Uncle John Mohler (Coleen) of Cincinnati, Ohio; Uncle Gregory Mohler (Sandy) of Canal Winchester, Ohio. Cousins, Jessica, Sara, and Margaux of Oregon; Sean, Megan, Shannon, Austin, Jordan, and Betsy of Ohio, and Mandy of Illinois. Also survived by his father, John Aberman of Virginia. Preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Natalie Aberman and paternal grandfather Danny Mann; maternal great grandparents Brenda and Charles Stouder; maternal great grandparents Mildred and Merle Mohler; maternal great grandparents Dorothy and William Roach. Cody will be deeply missed by other family and friends. Especially, his best friends, Nick Mernedakis (Kansas City, Missouri) and Ainsley Brougher (New Albany, Ohio). Cody also leaves behind the love of his life Carolyn Fendler Knapp of Kansas City and her daughter Adalyn. Cody had said that he had found the "one" that he wanted in his life forever. Cody graduated from Pickerington North High School in 2005 and the Central Ohio School of Broadcasting in 2013. He was employed by Mad Sky Roofing and Restoration, and NBC Universal Production Services for the Golf Channel. He covered the 2014 Senior PGA Tournaments in Branson, MO and Pittsburgh, PA. Cody loved his family and loved to golf, make films, music videos, fish, hike, work, photography - Cody loved life and will be deeply missed. Friends may call from 4-7pm on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME 550 Hill Rd. N. (St. Rte. 256) Pickerington, OH. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 11am at Peace United Methodist Church 235 Diley Rd. in Pickerington, with Pastor Elaine Sturtz officiating. Interment will follow at Violet Cemetery.
