Clark Daniel D. "Dan" Clark age 87, died August 27, 2014 in Alpena, MI. He was born September 7, 1926 in Olcott, WV to Elbert and Laura Clark. He was a member of the York Masonic Lodge #563 F. & A.M., Lions Club, Aladdin Shriners Center, and York Golf Club. He was an avid player and very much enjoyed golf and bowling. Dan served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Pacific Theater. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Evelyn Perry Clark whom he married June 17, 1950 in Charleston, WV; three sons, Larry (Debra) Clark, Michael (Danita) Clark, Rick (Karen) Clark; eight grandchildren, Larry Clark, Jr., Lyndsy Maechtle, Nadina Kinnett, Brianna Stewart, Krista Hedges, Cheryl Guy, Joshua Clark, Nina Kaser; ten great-grandchildren, Corry, Leah, Vada, Shyan, Cody, Brenndan, Kayla, Ali, Megan, McKenna; one great-great-grandchild Aiden; one sister, Kay (Ken) Tyler; and one brother, Jimmy Clark. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and two sisters. Friends may call Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, OH and also Thursday from 6-7 p.m. Masonic services will be held during the calling hours on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. Burial will be Saturday at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens in Cross Lanes, WV at 12 noon where there will be military honors. A memorial service will be held in Alpena, MI at Immanuel Lutheran Church at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation.
