Daniel Cacchio Obituary

CACCHIO Daniel J. Cacchio, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 5, 2009. Danny was a 1972 graduate of Bishop Ready High School. He was employed by the City of Columbus Division of Water for 19 years. He was a member of the American Italian Golf Association. Danny is preceded in death by his grandparents Rocchina (Anthony) Tangi and Michael (Angelina) Cacchio, aunts Ceil Tangi and Erma (Nick) Martina, uncles John (Chick) Cacchio, James (Jas) Cacchio and cousin Nicky Martina. He is survived by parents, Daniel and Lucy (Tangi) Cacchio; son, Joseph (Nikki) Cacchio; daughter, Carrie Cacchio; grandchildren, Olivia and Claire Cacchio; brother, Michael (Michelle) Cacchio; sister, Linda (Daniel) Jewell; nieces and nephews, Melinda (Dan) Whitney, Mark (Jennay) Cacchio, Matt Cacchio, Katie and Melissa Jewell; aunt, Minnie Tangi and uncles, Anthony Cacchio and Paul (Emma) Cacchio. Also survived by many great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may call FRIDAY, January 9, 2009 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4-8 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. on SATURDAY, January 10, 2009 at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel (within the St. Joseph Cemetery), 6440 S. High Street, Lockboune, Ohio, Msgr. Romano Ciotola, Presider. Interment will follow. Friends, who wish, may contribute in memory of Danny to the Tuition Endowment Fund at Bishop Ready High School, 707 Salisbury Road, Columbus, OH 43204. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com.
