Daniel James Coleman Obituary
Coleman Deacon Daniel James Coleman. The New Day Experience: In Celebration of the Beautiful Life Of Daniel James Coleman (Earl Eugene Jones) was born July 27, 1952 in Mansfield, Ohio to Phyllis Finch. At the age of 5 months old, Fannie Mae and Orange Coleman adopted him through social services. Daniel's spirit left his body on June 20, 2017 at 7:53 p.m. to be with the Lord. Daniel loved the Lord, his wife, step children, family and friends. He talked about how God had blessed him in so many ways. This humble man shared his love for Jesus with everyone that he came in contact with. It did not matter who you were or what you looked like, he always talked about his Lord and Savior. His message was all about Jesus being the Son of God and how important it was to form a personal relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Daniel became a self-taught saxophone player at the age of 12. He graduated from Malabar High School on June 3, 1970 in the city of Mansfield, Ohio. Daniel graduated from Columbus State Community College earning an Applied Science Degree in which he became licensed as a Chemical Dependency and Alcoholic Counselor on September 8, 2006. Daniel had an early retirement from The Neighborhood House, Inc. due to illness. He was well liked by all of his clients and coworkers. He applied his knowledge as counselor, life experiences, and most of all how God is not a respecter of persons. God will forgive you of all of your sins. Daniel did not let early retirement stop him. He is a published author of four books giving his personal testimony. Those four books include: The New Day Experience Part 1, The New Day Experience Part 2: Using the Shield of Protection, The New Day Experience Part 3: The Young and Ever Growing Christian Journey, and A New Heart and Mind Set Free to Serve God. These books can be found at Barnes and Noble and amazon.com. In honor of Daniel, proceeds from book sales will be dedicated to the building fund at Divine Faith Ministries International. Daniel leaves behind his wife and best friend of 25 years, Deborah Coleman; three step-children that loved him dearly, Ureka Wright (Kevin), Parris Lee Hampton (Crystal Foust) and Monique Hampton (Cordell Capers); four sisters and one brother, Noma Showers, Loma Lindsey, Sherry (Robert) Winston, and Constance (James) Pettit and Michael (Darlene) Breaston and twelve grandchildren who loved him so much. Special family and friends include cousins, Ruby and Jackie Cason, Stanley Brazil, Geoff Cason; Uncle Alfred Hunt; and niece, Star O'Neil. Best friends, Terry Gilbert, Glen Shaw, and Phil Solomon. Thanks for providing transportation to doctors' appointments; Dalton Queen, Lawrence Sampson, Minister Brown, and Larry Lang. Service will be held at Divine Faith Ministries International, 9800 Tara Blvd, Jonesboro, Ga 30238. Viewing will start at 11 a.m.-12 noon. Funeral service will begin at 12 noon. The eulogy will be given by Elder Durant Graves.
