Prosser David Henry Prosser, 67, of Columbus and Bonita Springs, FL, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Kobacker House. He was born in Fayetteville, NC to the late Olivia and Evan Prosser. David graduated from Kansas State University with a BS in Accounting. He worked over 25 years for CIGNA. David loved college football. He was a lifelong K-State Wildcats fan and after marrying Valerie jokingly told friends he was also "a Buckeye by marriage". David is survived by his wife, Valerie; daughters, Erin and Meghan (Bernie) Petit; and son, Matthew; stepson, Matt Milless (fiancÃ© Laura); siblings, Barbara (Thom) Putney and Bill (Mary Jane) Prosser; and nieces, Jessie (Jason) Gilliland and Katie (Rob) Courain. The family offers their special thanks to his caregiver, Louis Terry, who helped make David's last active months more meaningful. They also are grateful for the unlimited kindness and caring shown to David and his family, including Marley, by the Kobacker staff. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 5 at 11 a.m. at Plain City United Methodist Church, 202 North Chillicothe Street, Plain City OH 43064. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service. To honor David's wishes suggested funeral attire is shorts/capris and sandals. In lieu of flowers, donations in David's memory may be made to the Plain City United Methodist Church's Local Mission Fund.
