Debra Krauss-Warner Obituary
Krauss-Warner, Debra
Debra (Debby) Jan Krauss-Warner, 58, of Galena, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, the 12th of December, 2017 at Select Specialtiy Hospital in Columbus, Ohio after a courageous battle with numerous health issues. Debby the daughter of the late Daniel and Gertrude (Arnold) Krauss, born on the 20th of October, 1959 is thought to be on a beach, soaking up the sun and warm weather by her two daughters. Debby was a 1977 graduate of Eastmoor High school in Columbus, Ohio. She grew up attending Christ the King Church located near her childhood home. Debby married Clint Warner in 1984 at the Franklin County Courthouse, allowing them recently to celebrate their 33rd anniversary together as not only partners in life, but also in business. Debra worked as the "Boss Lady" administrative assistant for their business, Quality Irrigation Systems. She fulfilled tasks such as managing, payroll, customer service and keeping Clint in line. Debby loved a good deal, and attended as many garage sales as she could locate on any given day. Sometimes described as frugal, Clint lovingly described her as a "tight wad". She loved indulging in a good treat such as cheesecake, lobster and crab legs. Debby also enjoyed playing BINGO and completing puzzles at the kitchen table surrounded by family. Her daughters remember her fondly as being a bit "sassy", but also knew their mother to have a heart of gold as they proudly spoke of her as an organ donor. Debra will be missed by many, and survived by her husband, Clint; her two daughters, Danielle Warner (Nick Koenig), Jaime Warner (Andrew Kelly) of Columbus; her five brothers, Thomas Krauss of Reynoldsburg, Daniel (Judy) Krauss of Powell, Steven Krauss of Columbus, James Krauss of Groveport, and Ronald Krauss of California; her loving best friend, Karen "KK" Miranda; her "adoptive daughter," Mekaela Riley and her canine companion, Pomeranian, Chloe; neices, nephews, cousins, and friends. A Celebration of Debby's life will take place on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 4-8 PM at the Devore-Snyder Funeral Home, 637 North State Route 61, Sunbury, Ohio 43074 and an additional celebration of Debra's life will be held at a later date, when the weather warms up, as Debby hated the cold. In lieu of flowers memorials contributions can be made to the (www.kidney.org/support) or the GoFundMe account created by daughter, Jaime (www.gofundme.com/debsnewkidney) The Devore-Snyder funeral home of Sunbury is honored to serve the Warner family.
