I only recently learned of Dennis's passing and am truly sorry for your loss. I called him to discuss where we would be getting our CBJ playoff tickets, only to find my old friend would no longer be joining me for the games. Dennis had been both a mentor and a friend to me for over 20-years. I feel deep sadness as my belated thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

What a shock and deep loss to us all. Dennis was the kindest, most thoughtful man. I cannot imagine a family gathering without his gentle sense of humor. Much love and condolences to all whose lives he touched.

I first met Dennis in the spring of '93 at the Delaware airport, where Dennis helped me with an understanding of airplanes. Over the years our paths crossed many times. With our common interests, we found ourselves as good natured rivals in Ski Club bowling and softball.
My sincere condolences to the family.

Dennis will most definitely be missed. Although I only knew him for a couple of years as the mechanic that worked on my airplane in Marysville, he was always pleasant and had a smile on his face. I will always remember his positive attitude and patience.

I am a classmate of Dennis, I am so very sorry for all of us to have lost such a wonderfully kind and caring gentleman. He was funny in school, shy in some ways, always offering to help out right into our reunions. I am a part of the reunion committee and I know I speak for all of us when I say that Dennis was a friend we will all find hard to do without. All of us from PV to Westland and before will truly miss Dennis. We Loved Him. It is a comfort to know that Dennis is in the Lords grand arms.
May God Comfort you all at this great time of sorrow.

Dennis had always kept my airplanes safe for years. After every annual we would fly. (I always made him go with me).
We usually had lots of laughs. It will not be the same without him. We usually saw him at OSU games as well.
We will keep him in our hearts.
Sincerely,
David Pettit and Family

It doesn't seem possible that Dennis has left. When my husband passed away in 2007 Dennis helped me empty our hanger and was quick to give me a hug when I began crying. I will never forget his kindness and compassion during my own time of grief. Susan Sack

My deepest regrets and my prayers are for Dennis' family. I worked along side Dennis for the last eight years at the OSU football games at gate 24. We enjoyed talking Buckeye sports each game we worked together. I said goodbye to him as I was leaving our seats at the PennState game Saturday night. Little did I know it would be my last goodbye to a friend.

Dennis was one of the kindest, most gentle people I know. He helped me and my airplane partner many times with questions about an engine issue or other airplane maintenance question when we were finishing up the building our airplane and getting it ready to fly. He was always willing to assist. He was a friend, and I will miss him very much.

I and my family are so sorry to hear of Dennis's passing ... he was my son in law for 10 years and we never had a problem with him. We have kept in touch and will miss him.
God's blessing on your family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Grossman family. I gave Dennis his first job as an aircraft mechanic back in 1976. Over the years he has done so much for our little flying club. Dennis was always one to stick with it and work until the job was done. He was dedicated and there when you needed him. He was truly a great friend, as well, - always there with a smile - ready to help. He will be truly missed.
Sincerely,
Richard Willis, Laura Ketter and Everyone at New Flyers Association

Dearest Family,
I am terribly sorry for your loss and extend my thoughts and prayers to you at this difficult time. My name is Michele and I met Dennis in June 2005 at the Marysville Airport. Dennis will always hold a special place in my heart, as without his ability to fix airplanes, I never would have had a plane to fly in order to earn my pilot's license. I am truly blessed to have known him, despite the grief he would give me for being a Michigan State fan. :) I will hold several memories dear, especially his patience with me when learning the airplane parts and for the support/encouragement when taking lessons. Blue skies and tailwinds always Dennis - thank you for everything! You will be greatly missed...
