LaRUE Donald Ellis LaRue, 86, of Grandview Heights, July 18, 2011 at University Hospital. Graduate of South High School (1942) and received his Bachelors degree from Ohio State University (1948) and Masters studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Veteran of the U.S. Army, WW II and was a member of the 86th Blackhawk Division and was also a member of the International Male Chorus in Manilla. Member of First Community Church and active with Vaud-Villities for 30 years, also a member of the Columbus Maennerchor. Preceded in death by brother Frank LaRue and sister Priscilla Lenox. Survived by wife of 62 years, Mary; daughters, Donna and Anna LaRue; sons, Laurence and Gary LaRue; granddaughter, Kyra LaRue; nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the DEYO-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, 1578 W. First Ave., Grandview Heights, Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Friday at First Community Church, 1320 Cambridge Blvd. Rev. James Long and Rev. Roger Phillips officiating.
