Niday Donald F. Niday Sr. of Upper Arlington, completed his journey through this life to his final resting place in heaven on April 26, 2013. His love remains always with his wife of 63 years Lucille; Six Children and their families, Donnie (P.J. Alexander), Jerry (Randy Chahidi), Mark (Melissa) and children Steven and Jeffrey, Ann Augur (Hal) and children Luke (fiance Jessica Chu) and Morgan, David (Anna) and children Jennifer Moser (Chad), Michael and Lauren, Brian (Debbie) and children, Nicole, Ashley and Zach; Two great- grandchildren, Edward Terrance Niday and Madilyn Moser. Dad is a veteran of WWII joining the Army Air Corp after high school as Radio Operator on B17 and B29 aircraft. 1950 graduate of The Ohio State University in Electrical Engineering. Married Lucille Derr in August 1950. Worked for Ohio Power Company as a line engineer after graduation. Retired after 35 years of engineering with North American Aviation - North American Rockwell and then retired after 10 years of engineering with Battelle. He was a 50 year member of St. Andrew Parish including several years as President of the PTA. We would like to thank the staffs at the Forum at Knightsbridge, Riverside Hospital and Kobacker House for the wonderful care they provided to Dad. Friends may call Sunday, from 2-5 p.m. at EGAN-RYAN NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 4661 Kenny Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Church, 1899 McCoy Road.
