Lowe Donald L. Lowe, age 85, of Pickerington, passed away on July 5, 2013. Don was born April 24, 1928 to the late Elmer and Ida (Yates) Lowe in Blacklick, Oh. He served in the US Navy during WWII and is retired from the DSCC in Columbus. Don was a charter member of the Pickerington Christian Church and a former member of the Pickerington American Legion Post 283. He is survived by his sons, Daniel Lowe, James (Rosalie) Lowe, Steve (Vicki) Lowe; ten grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Jewell; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Lowe, daughter Delaine Freeman, four 4 brothers and two sisters. A visitation will be held on TUESDAY, July 9, 2013, from 6-8 p.m., at the PFEIFER FUNERAL HOME, Reynoldsburg, where a funeral service will follow on Wednesday, 11 a.m. with Pastor Evan Nave officiating. Burial with honors in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don's memory to Honor Flight Columbus, P.O. Box 12036, Columbus, Ohio 43212.
